Photo of the Week: My Hometown
Everyone has a hometown. A place that holds a special meaning in your heart, regardless of the way it looks and feels to others. Cambridge, Ontario is my hometown. I haven’t lived there in quite some time but whenever someone asks where I’m from, I always say Cambridge. It isn’t the prettiest place in the world, but when I think about it, a flood of happy and nostalgic childhood memories enter my mind.
Every Saturday I share a new and random photo from my travels.

The place one considers home is always very special. I am from Hamburg, Germany – and proudly so. I wrote a post on it a while back, too. Hometowns shape us in ways that we only ever recognize when we have left them. Hamburg is a port city set in an open and wide landscape, with lots of water and an industrial charme that I have since come to love in many other places as well. Thanks for reminding me of my love for it with your photo

It’s such a lovely and peaceful place. I’m so jealous. Looks like a perfect place for a Sunday walk or picnic
