Photo of the Week: Cafe Van Gogh in Arles
When I was 16, I went to France with my high school French club. It was my first time visiting Europe (and flying over an ocean!). We spent two whirlwind weeks traveling across the country, but the place I remember most is Arles. I loved the narrow cobblestone streets, the Roman amphitheater, and especially the cafes. Cafe Van Gogh was my favorite as I was obsessed with Vincent Van Gogh at the time. He lived in Arles for a year (1888-1889) and the city inspired some of his most famous paintings.
Every Saturday I share a new and random photo from my travels.
What do you think? Have you been to Arles? Does art inspire your travels?
